Raspberry Pi as VPN router (and wifi access point)
The problem with most vpn services is that the corresponding software needs to be installed on every device individually and might not even be available for a few devices (e.g. if you want to use a vpn service on your ps4). This is where a vpn router/wifi access point based on a raspberry pi can come into play. With this, you can just connect to the pi like you would to your regular router and all your traffic will be channeled through the vpn tunnel.
Drone upgrades (camera, switch ...)
I have recently found some time to a couple of upgrades to my drone. It should be pretty close to completion by now. At least it’s come pretty close to what I wanted to do when I started the project.
Videos: Flying the arduino drone in windy conditions
It was pretty windy today so I decided to test how my arduino drones handles “turbulences”. As mentioned in a previous post it’s a self-leveling quadrocopter with a gyro sensor attached so it should be fine as long as the winds don’t get too strong.
Arduino controlled DIY drone
I have been occupied with a new project these last few weeks: A programmable (arduino controlled) drone. This project is based on the great guidelines and videos provided by Joop Brokking on his homepage.
Improved makeblock starter robot
I have recently bought the makeblock starter kit that promised to be a solid robotics kit where you could get started programming the arduino based micro controller without spending too much time on assembling the robot.
